A SIGN IN THE HEAVENS

Here are all the photos (from the newest to the oldest, the most recent being last night, that is, October 21, 2006) that I could find in which I photographed all or most of the constellation Cygnus the swan. Sometimes his wings are clipped, sometimes Alberio is missing, and he is seen in different orientations with varying amounts of magnification, exposure time, film sensitivity and local sky glow. Most photos are tracked, a couple are not, and one shows star trails. I slightly brightened / enlarged the five "crucifix" stars in three of the photos. What do YOU see?
